Born and raised in Buenos Aires and now based just outside New York City, SORIA is the project of singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer Juan M. Soria. Blending indie rock, Americana, folk, and the melodic sensibility of his Argentine roots, SORIA is the immigrant story set to song—the work of a musician with one heart but two homes, pulling sonic and soulful inspiration from each.
With lyrics in both English and Spanish and a sound that blends genres and blurs borders, SORIA crafts deeply personal songs that feel equally at home on a back porch or turned up on stage with a full band.
After years spent recording other artists and documenting live music across the country, Soria has turned his focus back to his own music. His 2025 EP, My Best Enemy, explores identity, self-doubt, change, and the strange distance between the person you were and the person you’re becoming. In 2026, he continues that journey with new music and live performances across the U.S.
